Ryan Kwanten workout and diet routineRyan Kwanten was born November 28, 1976 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He made it big in America in 2008 playing “Jason Stackhouse” in True Blood. Ryan became an instant heartthrob because of his ripped, athletic body, and handsome face.

Ryan loves to workout. He works out up to 2 1/2 hours a day which involves mostly bodyweight exercises, running, and yoga. His bodyweight routines consist of doing a lot of pus-hups, sit-ups, pull-ups, and jumping rope. He also stays active by doing a lot of outdoor activities such as running, biking, swimming, and surfing.

Following a clean diet is a big part of why Kwanten stays in such amazing shape. Kwanten follows a Palaeolithic diet, which consists mainly of eating a lot of fish, veges, fruits, and nuts, while excluding grains, dairy products, and processed foods.

Ryan Kwanten workout – Stay Fit Forever!

Men’s Health – Ryan Kwanten sculpts rock-hard abs in only 20 minutes. Follow the True Blood star’s workout, and you can have a six-pack too.

Ryan Kwanten doesn’t believe in shortcuts, but when he’s pressed for time, he does this version of his favorite drill

1. Running
2 minutes
Use the pavement or a treadmill, or simply run in place. A steady, brisk jogging pace will raise your body temperature, priming your heart and muscles for the work to follow.

2. Pushups
2 minutes
Stop to rest if you have to. Just let the clock keep ticking.

3. 30-second sprints
6, resting 45 seconds after each

4. Planks
2 minutes
Stop to rest if you have to, as with the pushups.

5. Supine jackknifes
2 minutes
Lie flat on your back and raise your legs straight up so they form an L with your torso. Now “crunch” to lift your shoulder blades off the floor while extending your arms toward your toes. This is the starting position. Keep your legs straight as you lower them to 6 inches off the ground and then raise them again, always pausing for a one-or two-count at the top of each rep.

6. Shadowboxing
4 1/2 minutes
It’s the final round of a fight. The decision hangs in the balance. That’s your pace.

How does he form such a big chest just with press ups? He must have built his body before he started this work out.
